The CLASS-Web system uses secure server technology. This means all data between your browser and the server will be encrypted. It also means you must be using a secure browser that supports Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. If you receive an error message about a network error or security violation when you try to access the CLASS-Web Restricted Access Area System, you will need to upgrade your browser.

The CLASS-Web User ID corresponds to your student ID number.
If you recently applied on CCCApply, you may use the CCC ID that was included in the email acknowledgement of your application as your User ID.
Your CLASS-Web User ID (W ID Number) should be entered as all nine digits, with no dashes or spaces.
The CLASS-Web PIN is a 6-digitnumeric code. It is initially set to your birthdate in the format MMDDYY (i.e. 050772 for May 7, 1972). We encourage you to change your PIN immediately. Be sure to enter the leading zero (if any is needed): for example, the month of May would be entered '05'.
The User ID (Student ID Number) and PIN are used by CLASS-Web.
For Zonemail accounts created beginning in June 2020, the Zonemail password is initially set to your birthdate in the format MMDDYYYY. It is initially set to your birthdate in the format MMDDYYYY (i.e. 05071972 for May 7, 1972). Be sure to enter the leading zero (if any is needed): for example, the month of May would be entered '05'.
To better ensure the confidentiality of your Social Security Number, the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District assigns a "W" Identification Number. This number does not replace your Social Security Number as an identification number for employees or Financial Aid recipients requirements, but it provides us with an alternate unique number to use for reporting, correspondence with you, and for accessing your records within the Colleges' Student Information System.
You may use your CCCID from CCCApply to log into CLASS-Web to retrieve your W ID Number.
The new CLASS-Web "W" Identification Number is a unique number beginning with the letter "W" and an additional eight (8) digits.
To find out your user identification number, Sign On to CLASS-Web using your current identification number and PIN, and click the "What's My New User ID?" link.

After you have logged in, click on the Personal Information link. This will bring up the Personal Information Menu. Click on the Change PIN link. You will be asked to enter your Old PIN, enter a New PIN, and then re-enter the New PIN. Click on the Change PIN button to save your changes. After you have successfully changed your PIN you will be returned to the Personal Information menu. From this point, you can return to the Main Menu by clicking the Return to Menu button at the top of the page.
If you need to reset your PIN, on the CLASS-Web Login page, enter your W ID in the User ID field, then click the "Forgot PIN?" button. This will take you to a page where you can answer your security question and choose a new PIN.

Please note that if you are enrolled in an online or face-to-face course that uses Canvas, your Canvas login information [not TheZone/CLASS-Web login information] will be the following:
Username: Your User Identification Number
Password: the first two letters of your first name, followed by the
first two letters of your last name (all lowercase), followed by the
last four digits of your User Identification Number.
For example, Maria Valdez with a User Identification Number of W12345678 would log in as:

Invalid User ID or PIN
This error message means that the combination of the User ID and
PIN does not match any records in our database. Either you have
incorrectly entered one or both of the numbers, or your application
for admission has not yet been entered into our system.
If you have recently applied for admission, wait 24 hours for
your application to be processed and try again. Otherwise, please
verify your information and try again. If you continue to be
unsuccessful, contact the Office of Admissions and Records for
assistance. You may call Las Positas College at (925) 424-1500 or
Chabot College at (510) 723-6700.
Your Web Access has been disabled
For security reasons, if you enter your PIN incorrectly 5
consecutive times in one session, your PIN will be disabled. You
will need to contact the Office of Admissions and Records in
order to have your PIN reinstated. You may call Las Positas College
at (925) 424-1500 or Chabot College at (510) 723-6700.

Once you have successfully logged into the Restricted Access Area, you should not use the Back button on your internet browser to navigate from page to page unless instructed to do so. In certain restricted areas, the use of the Back button will be interpreted as a Break-In Attempt by the software and your CLASS-Web session will be disconnected.
For additional security, if you leave your CLASS-Web session inactive for 5 minutes, you will automatically be disconnected. You will need to log in again to restart your CLASS-Web session.

Your registration priority group and registration date will be
determined by the completion of the three Core Services (Assessment,
Orientation, and Student Education Plan), the number of institutional
units*
completed and in-progress at Chabot-Las Positas Community College
District (CLPCCD), and maintaining Good Academic Standing.
* Institutional units are units earned by completing coursework at
Chabot College or Las Positas College. This does not include
transfer work from other colleges.
The California Community College of Board of Governors approved policy change to establish system-wide registration priorities in an effort to improve student success. The new regulations are designed to ensure that classes are available for students seeking job training, an associate degree or transfer, and to reward students who are making academic progress towards their academic goals. Consequently, enrollment priorities have been defined and changes will go into effect for Summer/Fall 2014 registration.
Under the new regulations, new students who have completed college assessment, orientation, and developed education plans, as well as continuing students in good academic standing who have not exceeded 100 units (not including units in basic English, math, or English as a Second Language), will now have enrollment priority over students who do not meet these criteria. Students will now register for courses according to an enrollment priority system as defined by the Title 5 regulations and the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District (CLPCCD).
Example: If Priority Number is 070459:
Only the last four digits of the priority number are considered by an instructor at the beginning of each course when determining "add" priority for additional students. The "add" priority number for new students will be zero for their initial semester of enrollment.
Students may attempt to add into open classes during the add period at the beginning of a term or session. Students are generally added from highest to lowest priority number.

New students will be given a registration appointment date after the application for admission is processed through the Office of Admissions and Records.
All Students may verify their registration status and appointment dates via CLASS-Web.
The new statewide enrollment priorities established criteria that will provide the highest level of registration priority to continuing students with good academic standing and who have not exceeded the 100-unit limit (excluding units in basic English, Math or English as a Second Language). In addition, new students who have completed orientation, assessment, and have a developed student education plan in place will also receive greater priority under this new law.
Foster Youth and Veterans, folled by students in EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services) and DSPS (Disabled Students Programs and Services) who have completed orientation, assessment, and have a developed student education plan in place wil continue to have the highest level of priority.
Students who are on academic or progress probabtion, or who are close to the 100-unit limit are at risk of losing priority registration and should see a Counselor and develop a plan that will help make sure they stay on track to reach their educational goals.

Most likely you have too many options selected for your search. If you have too many options selected, it may restrict your search so no course will meet your criteria. In that case, try deselecting some of the options (instead of selecting Monday, Wednesday and Friday - just select Monday and Wednesday), or instead of specifying a campus/college make sure no campus is selected.
Also, you may want to check that the pull-down lists (Date Range, Begin Time, End Time) do not have a specific value selected. Please make sure you have at least one subject selected.

Parking on campus is by permit only. Student Parking Permits for each semester may be purchased online.
Daily Parking Permits ($3) may be purchased from dispensers located in the parking lots. Vehicles failing to properly display permits will be cited. There is no grace period for permits.

The CLASS-Web credit card information collection is performed over the internet via a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology is the industry standard for commercial online data encryption of personal and credit card information (as used by amazon.com, eFollett.com, barnesandnoble.com). This requires that your internet browser be configured to use SSL, otherwise the credit card transaction will not be secure.
At Chabot-Las Positas Community College District, we make every effort to protect the privacy of your information. The following fees are charged by the colleges:
Enrollment Fee: California residents, except those exempt by law, must pay a $46.00 per unit enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is subject to change by the State Legislature.
Non-Resident Tuition: Non-residents of California are required to pay a tuition fee of $360.00 per unit in addition to the enrollment fee and basic fees.
International Student Tuition: The tuition fee for international students, non-immigrant aliens or students on other types of visas is $360.00 per unit in addition to the enrollment fee and basic fees.
Associated Students Activity Fee: An optional fee of $10.00 will be charged each semester. Students paying this fee receive an 'activity sticker' which provides merchant discounts and additional access to student services and facilities. Clubs, scholarships, and other services are supported by this fee.
Student Representation Fee: Effective Spring 2020: A fee of $2.00 will be assessed of all students each semester or session. This fee is used for any purpose related to representing the views of students with governmental bodies.
Student Transportation Fee (LPC only): Beginning Fall 2018, a fee of $9.00 (enrolled in six or more units) or $8.00 (enrolled in less than six units) will be assessed of all students each semester. As a result, students are able to ride Wheels buses throughout the semester without having to pay the ridership fare. Contact the Student Life Office for more information.
Student Health Fee: Each College charges a mandatory $21.00 health service fee for the Fall and Spring semesters. Each college charges a $18.00 health service fee for Summer session. This fee will be used to support health services for enrolled students. Exceptions to the health fee are allowed for:
To apply for a waiver under exception #2, students must provide a statement of such reliance from an official of the sect, denomination or organization to the Office of Student Life. Information on exemptions may be obtained by contacting the Admissions and Records Office located in Building 1600 at Las Positas College and the Office of Student Life in Building 2300 at Chabot College.
Materials Fee: Students enrolled in certain Art, Architecture, Photography, Health and Physical Education classes are assessed a materials fee per class section. Please refer to the schedule of classes for details.
Parking Fee: The parking fee
is assessed when you make a request online on CLASS-Web.
Parking on campus is by semester or daily parking permits. Semester
parking permits may be purchased at the Campus Bookstore when
classes are in session.
Fall and Spring Semester parking permits*: motorcycles $20.00,
all other vehicles $45.00 ($30.00 for California College Promise Grant (CCPG) Waiver Students).
Summer Session parking permits: motorcycles $10, all other
vehicles $20.00.
Vehicles failing to properly display permits will be cited.
There is no grace period for permits.

Fees must be paid in full by the scheduled payment due date or you will be dropped from your classes. Enrollment is conditional. The colleges reserve the right to cancel your registration if payments, or arrangements to pay, are not made.

To obtain a refund of your enrollment fees, you must file a Request for Refund form in the Office of Admissions and Records at your campus. No refunds will be given to students who withdraw from classes after the no grade of record (NGR) deadline. A $10.00 processing fee will be subtracted from each enrollment fee refund. No processing fee will be charged if classes were cancelled by the college. Refund checks will be sent by mail approximately six weeks after the NGR deadline. You also have the option of crediting your account. In this case, the full credit will be applied to future terms.

Nelnet Deferred Payment Plan is not a loan. There are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The cost to budget your interest-free monthly payment is a $20 per semester nonrefundable Nelnet Subscriber's Fee.
Payments are processed on the 5th of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full.
Setting up an installment plan through Nelnet Business Solutions constitutes an individual agreement with Nelnet, and you must abide by the terms of this contract. Please carefully review your responsibilities described in the contract.
