PHOT 1A Digital Photography I 3.00 Units
Introduction to the processes, principles, and tools of digital photography. Students will use a digital camera (DSLR, mirrorless, point & shoot or smartphone) to process images from capture to print. May not receive credit if PHOT 50 has been completed successfully.

PHOT 1B Digital Photography II 3.00 Units
Digital Photography II is an intermediate digital photography course that is a continuation of Introduction to Digital Photography. Students will practice techniques that build on those learned in PHOT 1A for image exposure, capture, processing and editing while mastering the basic principles and concepts of digital photography. PHOT 2A B & W Darkroom Photography 3.00 Units
Introduction to the processes, principles, and tools of black and white darkroom photography. Students will use 35mm film cameras for the exploration and refinement of gelatin silver developing and printing techniques. May not receive credit if PHOT 60 has been completed successfully.

Capstone course for students to create a portfolio of photographs that reflect their individual style of photography. Introduction to the use of Adobe Photoshop for retouching, editing, and compositing digital images. Students take their original photography and artistically adjust contrast, exposure and color balance to create enhanced compositions. May not receive credit if DIGM 6A or PHOT 66 have been successfully completed. Strongly Recommended: PHOT 1A
